Clanker Liaison

Clanker Liaison publishes music and music videos by Matt Clanker to the Matt Clanker YouTube channel. It is a private tool used only by the channel's owner: it uploads videos the owner has made and sets their titles, descriptions and visibility. It is not offered to anyone else.

It also refreshes this site on a schedule: it reads the owner's own YouTube channel to list the public uploads shown here.

This site

• It is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and has no accounts.
• It collects nothing about you, and asks you for nothing.
• YouTube videos load from youtube-nocookie.com only after you click play. Until then the page shows a picture and nothing is requested from YouTube.
• Songs play straight from public file downloads on GitHub when you press play.

What Clanker Liaison accesses

Only the YouTube channel the owner authorizes, using YouTube API Services. It uploads that owner's videos to that channel and sets their titles, descriptions and visibility. A scheduled job reads the same channel through Google's API to list its public uploads: that is read access, it keeps only public titles, dates, descriptions and thumbnails, and it shares nothing and sends nothing anywhere else. It does not read, collect or store data about viewers or any other YouTube users.

What it stores

The OAuth credential the owner grants is kept in an encrypted secret store and used only by the owner's own automation. It is never sold, shared or used for advertising. Google user data is not sold or transferred to anyone.

Revoking access

The owner can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
